0,33 flaske fra helsekosten på Kvaddå, hjemme en søndag kveld feb-19: klar, mørk mahogny med ok skum. Deilig, maltdrevet aroma og saftig smak med sjokoladebiter, mørke karameller, tørkede frukter (fiken og svisker) i en utmerket kombinasjon med maltbasen. Ikke for søt selv om bitterheten er forsiktig. Deilig ettersmak og rikelig med mersmak.

0,33 flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme mens jeg lager middag på 1. nyttårsdag: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. En helt grei pilsner-type med litt ekstra humlebitt. forfriskende, lett å drikke, men samtidig lett å glemme.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. Next to clear ruby-copper coloured body, fawn-coloured head with good duration. Dotted spots on the glass. Rather vague aroma for dark malts, hints of caramel. Medium roasted flavours with moments of chocolate, liquorice and a touch of dark berries. Mid-sweet malty ending. Oily palate. Medium plus bodied. Pretty alright for the Yuletide. (Tromsø 20.12.2018).

Nice light amber bubbly-creamy longlasting head, dark amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, roasted grain, minerals, toast, bark, caramel malts, fruit stones, raisins, burnt toffee, yeast, alcohol, soil, grass, hints of unripe banana. Taste is sweet roasted, caramel malts, raisins, minerals, hay, bark, fruit stones, toast, weeds, chocolate, burnt toffee, soil, roasted grain, alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly sweet roasted and medical mouthfeel. Fair enough for now. I bet a few years in the cellar will do this good...

Fiskåbanen 281018. Golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, yeast. Flavor is dry, caramel, oxidation, yeast, pine, grass, bread. OK beer.

330ml bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Pours a noisy, off-white head over a bright amber coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Moderate smell of herbal hops alongside earthy malts. Mixed taste of earthy malts, caramel, and leafy hops, distant yeasty esters. Malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Satisfying. (Tromsø 17.11.2018).

330 ml bottle, from Bunnpris Sauda. Also known as Tananger Øl. ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Fresh pilsener aroma, notes of floral and herbal hops. The flavour is a bit too far on the sweet side, but has fairly decent hops.

Bottle. It's a hazy orange-golden colored beer with a small, white head. The aroma is quite pleasant, with pine cones, grass, flower hints, pale malts and a touch of white bread. It's dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and medium bodied, with a soft bitterness. Bread and pale malts serves as a backdrop for flavors of grass, pine cones and some resin. Long piney, grassy and faintly peppery finish. A very pleasant lager beer. Quenching, clean and tasteful. 181028
