Description
The history of the brewery "Opillia" begins in the 19th century, from its foundation in 1851. Then the owner was Samson Goldberg, and later daughter Amalia Goldberg, whose name became one of the main elements on the beer label of this brewery. It was the first large brewery in Ternopil with a steam engine and the only one that has been operating since then.

Bottled, from Chernivtsi. Clear pale amber, small head. Fruity, bready nose. Sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel, low carbonation. Fruity and bready with hay and slight diacetyle. Fairly low bitterness. Fairly harmonious old school stuff.

Das mag es vielleicht nicht sein: eine Koryphäe der Braukunst, aber doch ein solides Bier, dass sich besonders durch seine erfrischende Spritzigkeit auszeichnet.

EIn friedliches Bier. So friedlich, dass es richtig fade ist. Es ist nicht unbedingt schlecht, aber es fehlen mir die Weizen-typischen Fruchtaromen nach Ananas und Banane. Für Freunde von leichten Weizenbier, dass nicht allzu süffig ist, vielleicht interessant. Für mich doch etwas zu dünn.

Klar gylden med hvitt skum som daler sakte og legger seg som ett slør. Aroma malt korn smør. Smak malt sitrus eple humle brød. Saftig og fyldig øl med lett bitterhet og god smaksbalanse.
