Bottle at the restaurant 281016. Deep brown color with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, yeast, bread. Flavor is roasted malt, caramel, yeast, bread, hop, grass, raisin. OK beer in a beer style that is not my favorite.

Bottle, at the restaurant. A dark brown beer with a small, dense beige head. Sort of oily. The aroma feels a bit sweetish, but there’s lots of roasted malts, chocolate and dried fruits as well. Even some nuts. It’s full bodied, smooth and semi sweet. Perhaps a bit more carbonation would be fine. Roasted malts, chocolate, dates and some nuts in the flavor. Toffee too. Long semi sweet roasted, caramel finish. A bit sweet for my liking, but a nice one anyway. 161028

Bottle, at the restaurant. A hazy brown beer with a dense beige head. Some lacing. Dried fruits and toffee dominates the aroma. Some yeast too, and a grassy hint. Some spiced hints. The flavor is pretty much the same, with a good chocolate touch. Some bitterness too, dealing easily with the sweetness. It’s full bodied and nicely carbonated, semi sweet and with a faint warmth. Long finish. Nice indeed. 161028

Bottle, at the restaurant. An unclear golden orange beer with a dense two finger off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma is mostly on the fruity side, oranges, coriander, lemon grass, some resin and a touch of yeasty spices. Pale malts in the back. It’s full bodied, smooth, but with a good carbonation. Semi sweet. Nice bitterness in the mouth, semi sweet, with mostly fruityness in the flavor. Again, oranges and some coriander. Long fruity finish with a good bitterness and a little alcohol warmth. Nice indeed. 161028

Bottle, at the restaurant. Next to black in the glass, topped by a small, dense dark beige head. Lacing. The aroma is rather burnt, in a very nice way, with roasted malts, coffee, some dried fruits and dark rye bread. It’s super smooth, almost creamy, and next to full bodied. Semi dry. Burnt flavor with roasted malts, coffee grit, prunes, dates and dark rye bread. Low on bitterness, but not very sweet either. Long burnt, almost charcoal finish. Delicious indeed. 161028

Bottle, at the restaurant. A hazy, brown beer with a small beige head. Rather malty aroma, distinct sort of dusty touch too. Dried fruits, a touch of grass and a wood-like hint. The flavor too is malt forward, with a touch of prunes and raisins. Low level of bitterness, some grass. Medium body, a bit low carbonation, but then the beer weren’t supposed to be sold yet so it’s ok for me. Malty and fruity finish. 161028

Bottle, at the restaurant. An unclear amber colored beer with a small dense off-white head. Quite malty, lightly yeasty aroma with pale malts, caramel and a good dash of fruityness. It’s medium to full bodied, nicely carbonated, and with a nice bitterness. Quite dry, with fruityness dominating the flavor, caramel malts in the back. Mostly fruity end. A charming beer that pushes the boundaries of kolsch quite a lot. 161028

Nice ale with a British twist. A bit to low carbonation, and a bit to much yeast.
Lovely clear nutty color with a finger thick off white head. The head vanish a bit to soon. Good intensity in the aroma. Fine body for an ale at 4,7%. A bit to low carbonation, and a bit to sweet for my likings. Some more bitterness would have lifted this one a lot. Dired fruits, caramel, herbal and some yeast in the flavor.
