Draft at Mantra. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of toasted malt. Taste is toasted malt, chocolate. Hints of smoke. Roasted malt. Very good, especially considering the 3.3% ABV.

Can. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of corn, light malts, mild fruit. Taste is corn, grains, bread, bit of fruit, faint spice. Doesn't taste like any Kölsch I've had before.

Fairly macro take on a Kolsch, full of flat, corny pilsner malts and mildly bitter floral hops. Too sweet, and the finish fades into bready nothingness. Pretty much what you don’t want a Kolsch to be.

Pretty basic pale ale, mild biscuit and cereal malts and a clean, semi-floral hop finish. Slight citrus and pine on the back end, Not all that notable except in being rather easy to drink.
