Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy tan head that left very good lacing. The aroma was strong bourbon, caramel, wood and a hint of smoke. The flavor was toasty and roasty with molasses, malt, caramel, strong bourbon and a hint of smoke. Long finish. Full bodied.

Can at the July DC RB mini-tasting. Poured a slightly cloudy yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light citrus, touch of pine, floral. Touch of tropical fruit. Very light finish.
