Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a large, foamy, tan head. The aroma is licorice, burnt toast, dark chocolate, and sherry. Dry and roasty, with a light, acrid bitterness. Heavy body, with a chewy, hard palate. Aggressive and quality, but not that enjoyable.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a hazy, yellow color, with a small, foamy, white head. Kool-aid, pineapple, and cane sugar. Sweet and sugary. Light, a bit acidic, and chewy. Pretty good, for basically fruit punch.

On tap at Cafe Antonio in Morrisville, PA. Opaque jet black pour. Small creamy tan cap. Roasted malt nose hints at bittersweet chocolate. Flavor is bittersweet roasted malt. Earthy, hoppy undertones. Rich and flavorful with just a hint of sweetness on the palate. Resiny hop finish.

Can (8/5/22) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a clear copper with nice sparkle, 3-finger off-white fluffy foam head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is stale bread, crackers, caramel, mild fruit. Taste is sweet caramel malt, light spice. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, great look and decent complexity in the aroma but taste is meh. OK.

16 ounce can. Amber orange pour. Large pillowy beige head. Leopard-like lacing. Earthy, spicy toasted malt aroma. Bittersweet, toasted malt flavor. Grapefruit and pine flavors dominate. A bit of stickiness on the palate. True to the style.
