Excellent wet hop IPA, bursting with mango and passion fruit, underlined by berry and stone fruit, with a little wet malt and grapefruit zest underneath. Perfect for a warm October day at brunch.

Dark and rich without being overbearing, loads of dark chocolate and roast, with undertones of berry, cascara, and coffee, and a firm bitterness on the back end. Wonderful example of a disappearing style. Killer beer.

More of an IPL, with a lot of citrus and sweet melon from the hops. Grainy backbone, and the finish mixes noble spiciness with a touch of green hop funk. Not bad.

Crispy and crackery, nice herbal hop bite touched with melon and lemon, finished by grain and grass. Tasty.

Can watching US Open at hotel. Light dirty gold. Nose is citrus, herbal and pine. Tastes of medicinal herbs, grapefruit, pine, hard candy and plastic. Bitter but not overly so. Clean yet slightly weaknpalate.

Can bought at lunch and enjoyed in hotel later that evening. Light juicy plum colored. Nose is wheat and blueberry. Tastes of light blueberry, wheaty, bubblegum, doughy. Dry. Light bodied. Brunch brew

Tap at brewpub for lunch dodging a hurricane. Clear light brown. Tastes of caramel, light hops, dry cardboard, some leaf litter. Smooth palate. Quite good.

Nice porter, mixing dark roasted malt notes with unsweetened chocolate, currants, and anise, finished off by lingering char and bitterness. Impressive in its dry-as-a-bone fade. Tasty.

Labeled a “brown porter “, which makes me think the final beer didn’t come out exactly as the brewers planned. Caramel, cocoa, and esters mix with coffee cherries, espresso roast and a lingering bitterness on the finish. Messy, lacking any defining trait beyond its clingy dry fade. Eh.

Lots of caramel and apple, slight notes of banana and honey, with a floral hop bitterness that never quite meshes with the sweet side. Very much an American alt. Drinkable, but not my favorite.
