33 cl. bottle sampled @ Gollem in Antwerp. Thx! BBF 07/03/2015. Pours a wine / pomegranate hued blackish brown with a big tanned / beige head. Nose is lots of sweet dark fruit, raisins, prunes,… light brown sugar, sweet spices & caramel, really lovely. Taste is faint molasses, lots of the same sweet dark fruits, cane & brown sugar, sweet spices, warming, caramel malts,… Very lovely. Carb. is a touch nicer than usual. Great example of the style & way better than expected, pleasant surprise & easily the best of the 3 Wolf beers.

11.2oz bottle. Hazy thick unfiltered yellow-tan body. Yeast forward, a very pleasant fruity taste full on through. A straightforward Belgian Ale, elegant and fluffy champagne effervescence. A real pleasure to drink at. Straightforward in a rich Belgian way.

[10/8/13] Draught at Bier Circus in Brussels. Hazy golden. Yeasty aroma of fruity esters and some spiciness. Sweetish flavor, yeasty and fruity, continues spicy and mildly bitter. Medium-bodied. A decent Belgian Ale.

750ml corked bottle. Amber-copper body with a big, foamy beige head. A pretty pedestrian Belgian Amber beer. Nice doughy mouthfeel, but the aroma is sort of bland and raisiny. Better than most US Belgians, but not really an impressive Belgian example. Doughy brown chocolate, toffee, caramel, rasiin, prune, plum. OK, close but not quite there.
