Description
Sofia Electric Brewing was started as an idea behind a terminal in 2018 by Simeon Parvanov. After long and somewhat painful process the brewery finally started fermenting beers in the heart of Sofia in June 2020.

Joined by head brewer Remy Chaloner, the team tries to create beers that bring satisfaction and create opportunities for our community.

Can from BiraBar, Sofia. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. Oily and soft. 180822

Can from Birabar. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, vanilla, cake, chocolate, caramel, nuts and hops. Sweet roasty finish.

18/8/2022. Can shared at Abordage, Sofia. Pours cloudy pale orange gold with a small off-white head. Nice aroma, tropical fruits, citrus, grass. Medium sweetness and light bitterness with a slight tart edge. Moderate body, average carbonation. Best we had here.

Can @ Abordage. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich tropical fruits, flowers, citrus and has a nice fruity finish.

Can @ Abordage, Sofia. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 180822

Can at home. Murky punica appearance, white head. Aroma and flavor both have that typical NEIPA ish sweet-sweet hoppy-citrusy flavor with a touch of sugary milkshake. Drinkable but definitely not my kind of IPA.

2/7/2022. Can shared at fonefan tasting. Pours hazy/cloudy very pale yellow gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, melon, grapefruit, yeast, biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily and watery, fizzy.
