(50 cl bottle from Coop) Pale straw color, small white head. Grainy and bready scent. Malty and metallic taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. Grainy aftertaste.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly lasting head. Light hoppy aroma, just OK. Light bitter flkavor, short finish. Nice oily palate. OK pale lager but not a 2.7 beer!!!!

0.5l bottle purchased in some Spar in Graz Poured a nice pale golden colour with a medium sized fluffy white head at a medium pace (heh). Nice flowery malty nise, with some hoppy hints. Too faint though. Initially a nice lemony, bitter and somewhat acidic herbal hoppy taste, lacking the alcohol/malt assault of other Austrian Heller Bocks. Don’t get me wrong, the malt is still there, but it’s fine and pleasant... almost too fine and light for the style. The alcohol could be felt as it warmed, but never too much. Long acidic-bitter chewy hoppy aftertaste. The hopiness does seem a little overstated from time to time, and could be annoying to some, but this is still a quality beer. Not so much a Bock as a... say "Imperial Pilsner" (could be making a mistake as I’ve never had one) and possibly underrated.

Purchased at some Spar in GrazPoured a murky brown colour with a huge thick white head that collapsed pretty fast. Nice and pretty strong aroma... bananas, lemon, cloves, maaaybe even some hop. The taste isn’t all that pronounced. Lime, faint banana, pleasant clovey yeastiness. I would enjoy it more if it was more assertive, but it’s still quite nice. Weak hoppy aftertaste. Overall, a very pleasant Dunkelweizen. As is the case with other Edelweiss beers, not too flashy, but tasty, light and enjoyable.

Another interesting Edelweiss. Hazy brown color. Frity and wheat aromas and flavours. An interesting beer.

Out of all the beers that I tried in Austria the Edelweiss were the ones I liked the most. A typical hefeweizen beer of really good quality. Full taste, loads of banana. Very refreshing

From the three Zipfers I tried in Austria this was propably the best. A good lager. Light yellow/golden color , very nice foamy white head. Malty and hoppy. Not bad.

One of the three Zipfers I tried in Austria and propably this was the weakest. Very light yellow/golden color (like all the Zipfers) Malty but lacking a lot of flavour for a Maerzen.
