April 04, 2021 (re-rate): Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with white head. Not sure if this is different keg or what, but I’m getting more dankness and topical hop notes. Chalk is still there, but minimal. Quite nice (raising rating by 0.2) March 28, 2021 (original rating - 7/3/8/3/15=3.6): Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with white head. Slightly muted tropical hops, some resin on the finish, subtle dankness, and some chalk.

Very hazy milky yellow body and okay foam. Lots of vegetal hops on the nose, slight pine and citrus, skunk cabbage throughout. Flavour is subdued wet pine, soft chalk, all too watery sadly. Refreshing maybe but oiliness is important on a beer like this and it's missing.

Hazy yellow body and okay foam. Nice chalky hops aroma, hints of pineapple. Flavour is nice vehetal hops, piney guava, chalky finish. Dry and a little wet makes it refreshing. Hitting a few good marks.

Good clear medium copper body with sadly modest foam. Soft malty caramel on the nose, very slight biscuit. Flavour is a soft biscuit, dry and slightly chewy, but way too thin and wet. I prefer my Viennas thicker and hoppier and this misses on both fronts.

Opaque, pale, medium head. Weed, pine and overripe papaya on the nose. On the palate, medium bitterness, a kiss of malt sweetness, and mostly cannabis sort of hops. Solid IPA that seems to be trying to put a little haze on a classic PNW IPA structure. It’s a really good idea, and while these particular hops seem overly grassy to me, I think you could play with a lot of hop blends over top of this base and have a ton of fun with that. The two I’d like to see most are old school all-CTZ, or full-on experimental using H. Blanc and some crazy shit like Super Styrian, just to see what happens.

Opaque and pale yellow, with a frothy head. There’s some decent citrusy hop on the nose, but also a metric fucktonne of pedio. Now before I get all poopypantsed about it, I will say that the pedio drops off on the palate, and it has a fairly clean finish, sweet malts balanced by moderate bitterness. That big hop on the nose is also gone, too, though, so this beer is a big show for the impression and then settles in.
