Initially a commercial home-based brewery whose first beer appeared in Autumn 2017. It relocated to its current site in Autumn 2022. We brew experimental small batch beer, with an onsite Taproom.

Chain House Brewery & Tap 2026 visit Beer#2. Clear deeper golden coloured with a very small head. Solid in style, slightly bittered sweetish, fine without being notable.

Chain House Brewery & Tap 2026 visit Beer#1. Hazy pale golden with a small head. Slightly bittered lager, decent for it. Fruit-infused but very lager-heavy aroma.

The current local special between Chain House and 1260 Craft & Crust, so as I'm drinking it in the latter's establishment this beer might not be available beyond these walls... or possibly the brewery too. A clouded pale yellow-gold colour, not quite as dank looking as some of these can get. Tropical citrus aroma with a hint of pine, with a tropical-citrus taste minus the pine.

Spotty off white on a milky golden coloured body.
White wine, zesty, oats, citrus & bitterly hopped tastes.

Keg at the brewery tap, Preston, 16/05/2025.
Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, mango, papaya, grass, dank whisper.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine resin, guava, mandarin, mango flesh.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost.
Tidy DIPA.
