Description
It all began in 2015 in a small town in Yorkshire when, having shared the same passion for cask ale for decades, two of the Hemingway brothers, Jon and Rick, decided to brew themselves.
The first tastings were a huge success and very soon demand in Jon’s pub, the Brewers Pride, outstripped supply so the decision was taken to move into the old brewery at the rear of the Brewers Pride and, in September 2016, brewing commenced on their eight brewers barrel kit.
In March 2018 we finally moved to the Cherry Tree Brewhouse in Horbury where we still brew today. The Cherry Tree Inn re-opened later that year and, at last, we were able to showcase all our beers in one place.
In a bold move, we recently re-branded as Horbury Brew Co and decided to brew for the home market as well as in cask and, therefore, bring real ale direct to our customers in cans.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Dark ruby with a slightly off-white creamy head and battered malts. Has a healthy body for such a low percentage.
