Draught @ the brewpub - courtesy of the sweet waitress who squeezed the very rest of it (125 ml) from the nearly empty keg. Pours cloudy beetroot red with small pink head. Clear aroma of malt and beetroot, with faint citric hints. Veggie, beetroot taste with bitter notes of hops and some estery touches. Bitter, oxidised beetroot aftertaste with some estery notes and faint touches of malt. Well, I appreciate the ingenuity, but drinking it with pleasure is certainly an acquired taste.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy orangeish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and bread, with notes of yeast and mild touches of hops. Bitter and grassy flavour of hops, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Bitter, not very pleasant aftertaste with estery hints. Would like to try a new batch if it ever comes. Perhaps it will be an improvement on this one.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy very dark brown with light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with some roasty and caramellish notes. Sweetish flavour of malt, yeast and lactose, with notes of coffee and touches of hops and dark chocolate. Lingering roasty and lactic aftertaste. Not bad!

bottle from eBrowarium. Why, what have we here - a beetroot beer? Purple-red colour, with a strange looking pruple-white head, tall and fluffy. Beer yflavours go quite well with the shy beetroot hints in here - spicy and pleasant. A nice surprise.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna, niemal nieprzejrzysta, jasnobeżowa piana, dość obfita, całkiem trwała. W aromacie kawa, słodka czekolada, nuta chmielowa ziołowo-żywiczna. W smaku wyraźnie kwaskowe - nawet jak na milk stouta ta kwaśność jest zbyt duża nieco, do tego słodka czekolada, nieco laktozy, lekka kawa, w tle nuty chmielowe. Goryczka niska w kierunku średniej, wysycenie niskie, nieco brakuje ciała. Niezły, choć ma widoczne niedociągnięcia.
