500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with slightly late awakening, small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Chocolately and minimally roasty-spicy, dark malty and sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, notes of cocoa, chocolate, dark caramel, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and minimally roasty, dark malty as well as caramel malty, notes of cocoa, dark caramel, a touch of coffee, dark chocolate, burnt caramel, liquorice overtones; well hidden alcohol.
Slightly viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Very smooth, homogeneous, a tad too sweet - nice sipper.
