Description
Welcome to Capital Hive Meadery! We are a small micro meadery in the works of expanding to the commercial scale in Leesburg Virginia, across the street from the Leesburg Airport. We focus on utilizing exceptional ingredients to produce premium craft mead and ciders.

Our hours are currently Saturdays from 12-5. We will occasionally post on facebook when we will have additional hours on a case-by-case business. Due to Covid-19, we do not allow for samples or on-site pours. We hope to build out a tasting room sometime in 2021. If you are interested in purchasing bottles prior to public release, please see the details of our Primis Society . We hope to be able to ship throughout Virginia sometime in January, with nation wide shipping through Vinoshipper shortly after that.

Light purple, thick. Smells pretty boozy, some light tart blueberry. Fairly light body, tad thinnish, bit boozy. Taste is subtle, some sweetness, not too much. Definitely blueberry, but not getting the maple as much. Tasty, bit too lightly flavored for me.
