Tap at Drunk Uncle. Clean, pleasant lager. Has some malt and lager tone. Toasty malt, minimal hop tone. Good.

On tap at Drunk Uncle. Unfiltered orange-tan body, glass lacing white head. A pretty decent IIPA, rindy citrus bite, some mild juicy tones as well. Drinks on the mellow side for a double ipa, more like a strong california regular IPA. OK.

On tap at Ray Jβs. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet creamy grains with a bit pistachio coming through. Flavor combines creamy sweet grains and pistachio with a hint of cookie in the finish.

On tap at Indeed, must have just gone on. A true to style, really well done Kolsch. Unfiltered looking yellow-tan body, frothy glass lacing white head. Zesty, peppery hop balance. Great beer.

The aromas are sweet pale lager. Flavors it seems like they're using fake pistachios much like the fake almonds that have that cherry-like taste. Not so good. Good carbonation helps but there is some clash with the bitterness. Definitely one and done.

I was listening to a podcast featuring Indeed yesterday so decided for my special birthday beer this week to crack open Indeed The Queen Whiskey BA Imperial Stout Motor oil viscous deep black pour with a rusty tan head and huge whiskey, dark cacao (& plum?) aroma. Full luscious body with lots of warmth - you definitely feel that 10.5%. The taste imstarts off whiskey, then you get the rich dark bitter cacao stout, umami then a surprisingly dry finish with grape/plum briefly popping up before the whiskey, oak and heat come back in the aftertaste. Iβd say this is a classic example of a BA stout.

Can from Tavour. Pours brassy gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma of cinnamon and a touch of lactose. Med body. Flavor is mostly cinnamon. Lactose is detectable. Somehow it ends up a bit like a spiced baked apple. Apple = rice? Wouldn't have thot so.
