330 ml can, from Bunnpris, Sand. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, huge white head. Aroma and flavour of citrus, malts, yeast and juniper. Too yeasty, low bitterness.

Bottle. Extra Old version. Rich, mature, slightly oxidized. Leather, chocolate, cigar box, licorice, roasted malts, prune and hints of charcoal. Nice indeed. Must be by far the best I've had from this brewery. 848416 250529

YG. Black color with a tan head. Aroma and flavor is licorice, roasted malt, oxidation, chocolate. Nice.

Bottle from Gulating Stavanger. Slightly unclear golden body with a small white head. Aroma and taste is rather pils’ish with malt and grain, but smooth and soft in a nice sweet way with crisp grassy/floral hops. Nice within its style.

Bottle from Gulating Stavanger. Almost clear dark golden body with a light, lacing white head. Aroma is refreshing fruity with peach, citric fruit and hint of tropical fruit. Flavor as expected from the aroma, refreshing fruity, medium bitterness and not much more but actually quite nice for a session IPA, not too one-dimensional even as fruity it is. Medium body and smooth, fruity aftertaste.

Bottle from Gulating Stavanger. Slightly unclear deep golden body under a light off-white head. Smooth and refreshing aroma with citric fruit, some pine and actually some malt as well. Flavor is nice and refreshing with fruity hops balancing against some sweet, soft malt and actual bitterness. Smooth, fruity and rather balanced for a session APA.

May 2020: 330 ml bottle, batch #24, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 11.6%. Never mind that the guys at Nedstrand bryggeri can't spell "exaggeration", this appears as an interesting beer. Very dark brown colour, nearly black, with a moderate tan head. Malty aroma, notes of brown malts more than roast malts, hints of nuts. Smooth mouthfeel. Rich and malty flavour, some sweetness but not too much, with toasted and roasted malts, a hint of chocolate, decent hops, nicely balanced. Enjoyable to drink.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Verksgata. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy pale straw colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of pilsener malts, sprucetips and juniper twigs. Flavour of yeast, a little citrus, pilsener malts, sprucetips and juniper twigs. Moderate bitterness. Not bad.
