A hazy amber beer with a dispappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, while the flavor is sweet and quite hoppy dry.

An orange beer with a fast disappearing beige head. The aroma is like an ale with notes of oranges and lemon. The flavor is strong of lemon grass with wheat lingering in the background.

[Butt Head Bock] The aroma is very sweet with notes of alcohol and hints of alcohol. The color is brown and it has a small diappearing brown head. The flavor is sweet and rather hoppy with notes of roasted malt and alcohol running over the tongue, which warms. The mouthfeel ís smooth. [Tommyknocker Bockfest] Vintage 1996 sampled 2004. The Bockfest is a retired seasonal made by adding Rum and Allspice to the Butt Head Bock, but otherwise the specs are the same. A hazy red beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is of spices, where cinnamon stands out. The flavor is dusty combined with notes of oranges and spices - it definately tastes a little old. The body is a little thin - amazing of such a strong beer - even though it is 8 years old. [7/4/5/2/12]

Much better than the Maple Nut Brown they "Imperialized". Dark brown color with a thick oatmeal-colored head and nice lacing. Roasty, malty, nutty aroma. Full-bodied and sweet with toasted malt, maple and caramel flavors. Hops and well-masked alcohol present too. The finish is toasted malt with a touch of hops and spice. This is actually a very good session ale despite the ABV. A nice surprise from a normally below-average brewer.

Dark brown coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of alcohol, scotch, caramel, roasted malt and plentiful nuts. Full-bodied; Super nuttiness in the taste with malt and caramel running through. Aftertaste shows a bittering quality and a very unpleasant nuttiness. Overall, much stronger and unbalanced than I would imagine. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia yesterday on 01-January-2005.

Cola coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of raisins, figs, roasted malt and alcohol. Medium-bodied; Strong alcohol/malt flavour roaming around. Aftertaste shows some strong nutty flavours with malt and alcohol very potent. Overall, a decent bock-a bit old, showing some age. Thansk to Jon[R888710] for this one! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased in a package shop in Galveston, Texas on 18-September-2004.

VERY thin looking... extremely gale with almost no head... a bit hazy, but does not look inviting. Not much of a smell whatsoever... so this really isn't enticing me to drink it. Wow, what a shocker, this beer's good! Nice, tame, almost sweet taste, without really being sweet. A nice surprise! Thin in the mouthfeel. Very drinkable due to the nice flavor of this brew, even though everything else is subpar.

Nice hue... maybe a little more brown than amber, but nice looking. No head. Smells like a handful of change... not impressive at all. Tastes like a handful of change with some flowers... not really anything good... not awful. Why does this brewery keep making average/below average brews? Take a chance, experiment a bit. You're not winning over any mainstream folks, and not grabbing any real beer drinkers with the stuff you make now.

Nice golden amber hue, but nothing for a head. A little fruity in the aroma, maybe a hint of peach, though the scent is weak. Has hints of an IPA or fruit beer flavor. Definitely some peach or grapefruit in there. Pretty thin in the mouth. Good, drinkable beer. Not great.
