Description
WHAT'S AN UPSLOPE?
Meteorologically speaking, it’s a front range-covering, water-table-filling, snow-dumping weather pattern that anyone with bindings and a roof rack would die for. Beerologically speaking, it’s carbonated gold. In 2008, Matt Cutter, Henry Wood and Dany Page, kissed their homes in Cleveland, Atlanta and Argentina goodbye to bring their beer-brewing love affair to Boulder, Colorado. With that, Upslope Brewing Company was born. And after ten years of supplying Colorado with trailhead tallboys, and pow-day libations made from the freshest snowmelt, the finest hops and the purest passion for living life outdoors, one thing has become undeniable. These guys didn’t just float another microbrew into the sea of Colorado microbrews. They created a lineup of quality craft beer that tastes as good poured from a tap as they do pulled out of a fishing vest. In other words, for those who call the Continental Divide home, the perfect storm.

Boy do I love rice lagers. I've had some upslope but out of state and haven't been impressed but maybe it'll taste better in state, I'll need to find cans of this. Delish.

Oooo can really taste the Leopold's. Creamy chocolate whiskey vanilla cake. Hint of raisin and lots of molasses.

Wow! Best BA I've had in a while! Friend brought it out for a graduation.

Syrupy and high alcohol content. Just took a snifter but worth it

Canned October 21st 2022. It's right on the label.

It pours a clear amber with a smallish head of foam, just a little lacing.

Smells really tart, woody, some ginger spice, complexity further with some obvious dark fruits.

The taste after I get past the tartness, is dark fruits, woody from the oak and the Amburana(Brazilian, wow) definite notes of ginger but I don't really get any vanilla, as the label mentions.

Good mouthfeel.

Pretty unique tasting Wild Ale. I favour it.

Pint at McDevitt Taco Supply in Boulder. Pours a clear, orange color, with a medium, beige head. The nose is cloves, sweet potato, earthy hops, sage, and brown sugar. Sweet and spicy, with a good, mellow bitterness. Medium body, bready, and clean. Solid.

Can picked up at state store. Pours dark golden with a medium sized off-white head, light lacing. Toasted malts, toffee, nutty, citrus zest. Good, light but flavorfull.
