Description
First brewed in January 2021 with a few earlier beers being produced at Glen Affric Brewery Limited.

Amity Brew Co stands for community, friendship and good beer. We make fresh, modern interpretations of classic beer styles, as well as experimenting with what’s new.

Our brewery and taproom opened in December 2020 despite the pandemic, we can currently only welcome you on Fridays and Saturdays and for takeaway beer only but we hope that will change very soon.

We are a group of friends who met on the craft beer scene, but having worked in the UK’s best breweries and beer retailers, you could say we know our stuff.

440ml can in Chez Sophie on 17th July 2022. Golden body, not quite clear, white topping. Decent enough Helles, refreshing and easy to drink, some light maltiness and even less hoppiness.

440ml can Sophie's Beer Store after riding up Snowdon twice. Pours gold with a fine mist, small white head. Pale malt sweetness on the nose. Quite a mild lagery sweetness, light bodied, oily palate, gentle bitterness. Ok.

440ml can from Sophie's Beer Store. Misty golden orange, small white head. Pleasant fruity nose, mild fruity character to taste, some light orange and bubblegum with a citrussy prominence. Nice light sipper, but fails to pull the punches.

330ml can via my son's Beer52 subscription: BB 17th Mar 2022. Drank at home on 4th Aug 2021. Hazy golden body, decent white head. Citrus front to both the aroma and taste, lemons, limes and grapefruit like esters and flavours with a hidden sweetness from somewhere. A bit 'thin' body wise.

440ml can: BBE Apr 2022. Drank at my parents on 25th Jun 2021, part of my brother's Beer52 selection. Slight haze to the golden orange body, thin white head. The nose held a hop aroma, both citrusy and piney, the taste also hop forward. Mild malty backdrop in the flavour. Decent.
