Kind of a line syrup hops aroma here. Lots of pine and caramel together. Also get the thistle the first rater noted, and some grapefruit. Amber pour with ok head. Decent stuff. Bittersweet.

Draft: Rich french roast coffee, touch of tar on the nose. Cola brown, medium tan head. Coffee, toasted cereal grains. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice combination of roast from both the malt and coffee additions. Excellent beans! I could have several of these!

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was lots of chocolate. Cocoa powder. Mocha creamy character. Flavor reminded me of a dusting of dark chocolate. Roasted, but not burnt coffee. Really pleasant.

22oz bottle. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a little bit of dark ruby red on the edges of the glass when light shined through it. Medium sized, foamy light tan color, quickly dissipating. Aroma was light sponge cake, very light coffee, Hershey chocolate. Flavor was mild coffee. Now that I've finished it, I get the kind of light aftertaste of when you drink coffee and taste it a while later, but it wasn't too coffee forward. Easy to drink at a very reasonable abv.

Draft: Strong husky pecan nose. Clear chestnut, medium tan head. Pecan, maple syrup. Medium body, easy carbonation. A bit sweet for the style and elevated ABV (though well concealed), but good.
