Spinach and okra nose. Clear golden, medium head. Barley malt, hay. Medium body, easy carbonation. Well attenuated, husky, neat. I like Pilsnerd better, but this very nice.

Not a lot here. Some citrus and a decent malt backbone but not a lot of character like eastern beach towns. Bitter.

750ml bottle pours a translucent cola brown, some tan head and light legs. Nose is nice, especially after it opened up, caramel, toffee, booze, light vanilla, some cola/rootbeer, barrel character is brandy but also adds some sumac too, herbs, woodruff. Flavor has sweet caramel and toffee and malt, brown sugar, some BBQ sauce, caramel apples, the booze is very mellow here, there's vanilla and light whiskey, but everything is grooving. Full bodied, lightly sticky but very smooth. Drinks very easy for 11%.

Kind of a line syrup hops aroma here. Lots of pine and caramel together. Also get the thistle the first rater noted, and some grapefruit. Amber pour with ok head. Decent stuff. Bittersweet.

Draft: Rich french roast coffee, touch of tar on the nose. Cola brown, medium tan head. Coffee, toasted cereal grains. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice combination of roast from both the malt and coffee additions. Excellent beans! I could have several of these!

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was lots of chocolate. Cocoa powder. Mocha creamy character. Flavor reminded me of a dusting of dark chocolate. Roasted, but not burnt coffee. Really pleasant.
