Coffee, soy sauce, gamey charred meat. Gusher, poured all brown foam, settled to an opaque black with no lacing. Gamey meat is dominant, some smoke and coffee also present. Sweet throughout, not necessarily cloying, and kind of hard to pin point, but not distinctly maple syrup. Medium body, light carbonation. I love the label, name, and concept. The end result was a bit of a mess though. Really not bad once you get acclimated to it, but it didn’t quite meet my lofty expectations.
