Commissioned Dutch tripel now made in Belgium. Medium thick, lacing, off-white head over a hazy golden blonde beer. Aroma of any generic Belgian tripel: banana, peach, cooked cauliflower, orange peel, raspberry, toast, grass and plastic. Sweetish estery onset, banana, peach, red apple, soft honeyish and lightly bready malt sweetishness, bit yeasty, mild grassy hop bitterishness in the finish, but some plastic-like phenols and a gin-like alcohol impression as well. Old-fashioned and very stereotypical abbey tripel.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of fruit and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with malty and citric notes. Lingering, estery, slightly acetic and hoppy aftertaste. Okay but perhaps not quite worth the name.
