Tap, Amber, clear with light brown head. Roasted, coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium sweet light bitterness with a soft chocolate end.

Draught @ BBB. Pours reddish black with a small mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with toasted malts, dark bread, pears, raisins, prunes, coffee, chocolate, hay and caramel. Taste is sweet, malty and fruity with roasted malts, sweet dark bread, toffee, hay, baked pears, marzipan, raisins, sweetened coffee and hints of dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly cloying and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and malty with roasted malts, dark chocolate, baked pears, marzipan, sweetened coffee, hay and toffee. Smell s good but comes off as too sweet.

Jo ... den er bitter

Bottle, at Gladmat. It’s an unclear, pale yellow-ish colored beer topped by a two-finger white head. Citrus, coriander, pine cones and some pale malts in the aroma.Notes of orange zest. It has a nice bitterness in the mouth, it’s semi-dry and medium to full-bodied, with a high but pleasant carbonation level. Pine cones, citrus peel and a touch of coriander, as well as pale malts in the flavor, leading to a finish where the bitterness is slightly more pronounced. Some peppery hints in the end as well. A refreshing and tasteful one. 140726

Bottle, at Gladmat. A finger-thick light beige head sits patiently on top of an unclear, copper-orange body. Caramel malts, fruityness and some pine cones, and crystal malts in the aroma. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, but not more than there must be. A generic fruityness and pine cones chimes in along with the caramel malts. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation level. Medium body fullness. Lasting dry and bitter finish. In my book, this one’s too malty and a tad boring, but it’s flawless and drinks quite easily, so it’s far from a bad beer though. 140726

Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, citrus, orange, wheat and grass. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with a long grassy, citrus and slightly dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Big great white frothy head on top of a mild hazy pale golden body. Mild grassy, citrus and probably a bit to much fruity. Fine body and a fresh bitterness. Average to rich carbonation. Moderate sweet. Quite well balance between sweetness and bitterness in the flavor. Lots of citrus here. Mild grassy, wheat and a bit fruity. Also a bit acidic. It made it quite fresh. Otherwise a kind of strange hefe weisse. But worked fine under a hot summer sun.
