Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is caramel malts, leafs, sap, hops, rubber, bark, pine needles. Taste is slightly sweet and a little watery, light malts, sap, leafs, grass, sugar, hints of bark and cardboard. Medium bitterness, very thin body. Disappointing, I’ve had lots of pale ales with lower ABV being way better than this.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Frothy beige head with excellent retention and nice lacework. Clear dark amber coloured body. Fruit hoppy nose join by a touch of coffee grounds. Fine blended flavours of sappy citrus hops and sweet maltiness of grainy chocolate. Mid-dry, leafy bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Fits it season. Nice. Promising new brewery this one (Tromsø 02.11.2013).

Black color with light brown head. Dry aroma with roasted malts. Taste of dry cocoa and chocolate with dark malt. Medium bitter.

First rating: Medium white head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Deep resiny funky lemony aroma with tropical fruit notes. Dry-sweet wooden resiny taste with ashy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish astringent wooden earthy herbal aftertaste with rubbery resiny wooden strawy notes. Nice, drinkable, full of flavour, but with some off tastes. (0.33l bottle from wine monopoly, Strømmen.) 7,4,6,3,13=3.3

Second rating: Small white head doesn’t last. Clear amber body. Resiny malty orangey aroma with wooden dusty earthy notes. Dry wooden dusty toffee taste with mealy orange rind notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish dusty earthy wooden aftertaste with orange rind and oil notes. Nice, drinkable, a bit unusual. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika.) 6,4,6,3,13=3.2

Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly consentrated, light malts, dried fruits, caramel, hops, rubber, leafs, pine needles, strawberry, bark, grass. Taste is slightly consentrated fruity, light malts, dried fruits, grass, caramel, hay, hops, leafs, sap, sugar, flowers, pine needles. Longlasting mild bitterness. Nice.

Pours reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, citrus, grape and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with and long bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
