Bottled (from Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is Laphroaig, some sweet malts, rye, mild toffee and ripe fruits along with some slight alcohol too. Flavour is Laphroaig, rye, toffee and some slight alcohol with wood. Rather sweet, but otherwise nice.

A black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of strong liquorice, dark malt, caramel, melasse. Taste of sweet strong dark malt, caramel, liquorice, some rum flavour from the barrel.

Sample at TCBW 2023 Clear golden color and small white head. Light pine and citrus in the nose. Light-bodied. Pale malts, faint piney hops in the flavour. Neh.

Sample at TCBW 2023 Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Roasted, cocoa aroma. Full-bodied. Bourbon, cocoa, roastyness in the flavour. Mellow. Good. Use of Piran salt is interesting as I visited the origin of the salt (Sečovlje Salina Nature Park) in 2021.

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours clear pale yellow with a low head. Aroma is fruity malts. Flavor is fruity malts with some pine and hops. If you want to make West Coast IPA great again, should you start by brewing one?

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with bourbon. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, coffee, bourbon, oak, hops. Great.
