Big creamy offwhite head with a rash of larger bubbles in the middle. Dark red, translucent body, rather like red wine. Sweetish, faintly earthy, milky caramel aroma with lightly grassy hop aroma. Harmonic. Sweet chocolatey licorice taste with milky cinnamon notes. Bitterish aftertaste with grassy notes. Extremely smooth, but a bit cloying. Quite nice. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottle. Dark red-brown with a nice fast-disappearing bubbly beige head. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of alcohol and some chocolate. Sweetness, liquorice, coffee, chocolate and dark fruits in the taste. Quite a dry finish.

Bottled. Darkish ruby red colour, big beige creamy head. Aroma of plums, syrup and caramel. Some weak alcohol also noteable. Flavour is smoked caramel malts, with smoke/ashes in the finish and aftertaste. Alcohol completely hidden in the flavour. Once it gets a bit warmer, the flavour get some tarry notes also to the smoke/ashes. Good Baltic porter in my opinion, though the aroma was a bit more like a sweet dunkel. The palate is great, though a bit sticky after a while.

Bottled. Yellow colour, small white head. Metallic aroma with hints of skunked hops. Exactly same in flavour. Total crap our most loved Alko has imported yet again. I wonder what idiots are sitting in the "beer-guru-section" choosing one lager after another to be sold at our monopoly company. They should go for impy stouts, ipa’s etc instead to get variation in their lager on lager selection...

Bottled(330ml). -from some market in Panevežys, Lithuania. This is some kind of Lithuanian radler. Pale yellow coloured, small soapy white head, strong lemon flavor, acidic lemon aroma with almost no presence of hop. Drinkable but no thanks.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark, orangey brown with a fine, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma of roasted malt. Fairly full body with notes of hard roasted malt, some light caramel and an alcoholic finish. OK as such, but really just a strong Dunkel. 280706
