330ml bottle. Pours black in colour with a thick tan head leaving some lacing and aroma of roasted malt, coffee plus grapefruit hop. Taste is initially sweetish dark malt, roasted, smokey, coffee, followed by chocolate, raisins and fruity citrus grapefruit & pine hop bitterness. Nicely smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, clean finish with some lingering chocolate notes. Well balanced, very drinkable black IPA.

Red fruits , leaves you smell in fall , sour touch ( barrels i guess ) sweet and complex . Waaw , what a beast ! Omg Soooo happy i didnt share this ! Where to begin ? Its more like a vlaams oud bruin , combined with a quad , than barrel aged in such a good way ! Its earthy, red fruits , very complex , sweet , has that sour touch , oak , red wine , spices perfect carbo , not heavy , but not thin neither ,... Im a shity rater , usualy i xan only describe thrre things or so in a beer . The fact i can get this much out of it means 1 thing : GET THIS ( and send it to me lol )

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma was unsurprisingly crushed banana! The flavour is grapefruit citrus fruit, spicy and a little sour. Maybe it was the Bombay mix I’d recently been eating, cos the crushed banana wasn’t evident in the flavour! It’s a sharp citrus spicy and very different Hefeweizen. Check it out if you can.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is dry citrus fruits leading to a slightly sour, medicinal, aspirin like flavour with some grapefruit citrus and and hint of malt on the palate. From the way I’ve described it it sounds dreadful, but I have to set the record straight and give this beer a big thumbs up. It was certainly flavour packed and uber refreshing.

Tap at Beer Temple - Amsterdam. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white cream head. Has a kind of odd gasoline note and a bit of toasty hay. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with grass, touches of rindy citrus and dry straw bitterness. Meh.

5th October 2012
Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, crisp and semi dry. Mild minerals. A little malt cream. Pleasant but light hops. Trace of lemon and lime with bitterish starfruit. Only a touch of mango and tropical fruits. Finishes bitterish and minerally. Not bad but I’ve had better Galaxy beers than this.
