(swing top bottle, 33cl) Black-as-coal coloured hue with a huge and brown foamy head. Roast-malty aroma with notes of chocolate, caramel, leather, berries and citric noble hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty and leathery malt-character with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, a whiff of smoke and present fruity notes; dry-ish, moderately roasted malty finish with notes of chocolate, fruity hops and a warming alcoholic bite. 28.V.12

On tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub, Bratislava. Dark golden color with medium long lasting beige head. Malty aroma with hints of caramel. Full bodied beer, fruity taste with hints of caramel, yeast and light bitterness. Drinkable beer.

On tap at Hostinec Richtár Jakub. Lightly hazy amber colour. Heavy airy, rather stable yellowish head. Aroma caramel, honey, light roasted, very light coffee. Mouthfeel somewhat sticky. Taste well balanced, medium sweet, almost medium bitter. Finish is rathes sweet, but balanced with some bitterness. Well drinkable. Good beer, though a bit uninteresting. Better only lightly chilled.

Flaška(děkuji Cusu!):Golden, hazy, small and stable white foamy layer, grainy-yeasty nose with very faint traces of hops and ginger, delicate fruity traces of infection detectable,as well; light to moderate bitter-sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, at least quite soft; short sweet-sourish finish with hoppy traces and a faint tinge of zazvor (ginger). No, not my cup of tea…

Flaška (gšeft s Cusem!):Golden, hazy, mid-sized lacy head, typical house character: chalky and fruity nose , minerals and some hops detectable; light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and really soft; short bitter-tart finish, fruity traces as well. No, not bad; You’ll find worse Desitký in Bohemia and Slowakia…

Huge, dark brown-greige head, pretty stable over black beer, viscously pouring. End of bottle solid yeast. Ink, C-hops, straw or silodust, chocolate, suggesting melanoidins. Very bitter black coffee, ashes, tobacco, bitter pure chocolate. Very roasted in any case, alcohol and even fusels obvious. Again dry UK or USA hops, if less easily recognisable than in the nose. Very thick, viscous and oily; mild alcoholburn, utterly full-bodied; creamy texture. Quite good R.I.S., they could deliver in St. Petersburg! Na Zd’ravie, Peter!
