Voici un perroquet qui sait donner de la voix et qui a du caractère. Cette Papegaei sait clairement réchauffer avec un duo alcool/épices bien présent (l'alcool faisant davantage que ses 8 % Abv), digne représentante des bières belges fortes. En verre, nous sommes sur un blond doré (EBC aux alentours de 21), légèrement voilé et surmonté d'une mousse blanche de 5 mm d'épaisseur. Les nez est plutôt classique pour le genre mais puissant et appréciable. Nous retrouvons céréales, alcool, coriandre, agrumes, amertume et une pointe d'acidité. La première partie de la dégustation est cependant plutôt douce. L'attaque est sur des arômes de pain, de coriandre et de citron avec une pointe acide. La deuxième bouche, dans la même veine, est toutefois moins épicée et sans acidité, ce qui la rend très distinguée. L'arrière bouche quant à elle présente une amertume plus marquée sur des notes épicées et l'acidité qui refait surface. C'est à la troisième bouche que l'alcool se fait vraiment marquant sans toutefois déséquilibre l'ensemble avec un sucre et cette petite acidité le contrebalançant. Le final, élancé termine convenable la dégustation, toujours sur l'alcool mais avec une amertume plus présente en complément des épices bien présentes. Du travail sérieux!

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Many thanks for this beer to mrs Eva from Bar Expert Polska. Piana srednia jak na belga ale trwala do końca. Mocna bananowo morelowa barwa metniste bardzo, drozdzowy zapach. Smak slodowy, ulozony suszone morele, pomarancze i mus bananowy. Fajne treściwe, alkohol nie wyczuwalny i do tego wyraźnie chmielne piwo. Skromna etykieta ale odważne w smaku i treściwe jest to piwo. Warto było czekac na piwo z tak dalekiej podrozy.

F: big, white, good retention. C: deep gold, light hazy. A: malty, floral, coriander, spicy, yeasty, orange, pear, strawberry. T: malty, chalky, fruity, floral, peach, coriander, hint of orange, bready, candy, medium to full body, normal carbonation, good balanced but nothing special and memorable, 33cl bottle from Prik&Tik /Quali-drinks/ in Brussels.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of honey malt, yeast, bread. Taste is bready sweet, more spice, light lemon. Easy drinking for the strength.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig, licht zoet met iets van sinaasappel en citroen.

Bottled@HBF2016. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is mild spices, some citrus, mild gluelike alcohol as well as some slight yeastiness. Flavour is quite similar, leaving a quite alcoholic and sweetish ripe fruity aftertaste. Quite rich carbonation.
