Solid mean-ass red ale. Thick, sturdy malts create a nice platform for the hops, and the hops then proceed to get all Dethklok on your taste buds. Brutal bitter, but so good, piney with a bit of citrus, and a prolonged hop resin fade that couples with a modest but necessary sweetness. I’ve always been a sucker for big, hoppy, ruthless red ales, and Rainmaker fits the bill. Awesome beast.

Bomber from DalzAle. Nose is coffee, roast, chocolate, and a tinge of burnt. Black with a medium cinnamon tan head. Flavor is chocolate, a hint of bitterness, and roasted coffee beans. Very solid stout!

On tap at the brewery, with growlers available. Not a lot of alcohol, for a double, but that is fine with me. Light red/brown color. There is caramel and lightly roasted malt, but this beer is more about the hops, which are herbal and dry. Solid beer in a style that usually has little to offer.

On tap at the brewery. This is a good ipa. Aroma has citrus with hops. Dry, bitter flavor with more citrus & flowers. Good palate, and very fresh. Its not balanced, it is hop-forward. And that is OK.

On tap, at the brewery. Cloudy yellow appearance, it looks like a Blonde Ale. but the aroma offers much more, with lots of floral hops. Flavor is dry with citrus, making this a refreshing ale, great for hot weather.

It seemed like more of a brown ale, a very good brown ale. Fresh and well hopped for the style. Well roasted but not burnt, and a very good palate. Sampled on draft, at the brewery.

My first Steel Toe beer, and it drank pretty good. Clearly a double ipa, with sweet malt and lots of hops, and a somewhat thick palate. Citrus hop character, and sweet malt. It might be hard to drink a 750ml of this, but it is a good beer.
