22 oz bottle purchased at The Four Firkins in St Louis Park, Minnesota. I also had this on draft at the brewery tasting room. The pour is golden darker copper with a khaki head that fades pretty quickly. The aroma is resinous, big hops right off - grapefruit and floral, along with a decent blast of caramel malt sweetness. Big nose. The taste is the big resinous floral and grapefruit citrus hops, transitioning to a dry caramel malt, which had a bit less sweetness than the nose suggested. Fresh. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level, finishing dry and almost woody. This beer is heavy handed, though certainly seemed to be the intention. Distinctive.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Four Firkins in St Louis Park, Minnesota. I also had this on draft at the brewery tasting room. Pour is a a mostly clear golden copper with a well formed off white one inch head. The aroma is fresh bitter resin hops, some dusty dried flowers, and a light orange peel. The taste is the resinous bitter hops, leafy and dirty mineral, turning to the hint of the dried floral of the nose. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, and featuring a bone dry mineral finish. Nice one.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Four Firkins in St Louis Park, Minnesota. Pour is a deep black brown, with a smallish light khaki head. Aroma is roast, ash, and some general sweet molasses malt. Taste starts quite dry with mineral, gypsum, the roast, the char, and then dries out with ashiness in the back. Really none of the sweetness from the nose is present, its really all about the ash and char. Palate is medium to light bodied, finish is all about the dry ashiness. A bit heavy on the ashy character. Nice enough, and certainly a unique take on the style.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Four Firkins in St Louis Park, Minnesota. I also had this on draft at the brewery tasting room, and from a growler I purchased at the brewery. Pour is a lightly hazed yellow golden, with a smallish white head. Aroma is light sweet malt, dry hay grass and a light mineral. Taste is a grainy malt, with a light honey floral aspect, and finishes with some light yeast. Palate is light to medium, lower carbonation levels, grass light clove yeast and some mineral finish. Nice, sessionable beer.
