A full pour at the brewery. I believe this is draught and onsite only. Amber color.This beer is not as sweet, or as heavy as many doppelbocks. Malt, some caramel, and alcohol is noticeable in the flavor. Good.
Good effort at a true to style Central European dunkel.

On tap at Republic, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is very piney, with lots of earthy hops, plenty of pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of pine, earthy malt and biscuity notes. A little too piney and bitter. Decent.

On tap at Republic, pours a hazy golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out punchy piney hops, some earth, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour follows as expected, with crisp dry crackery malt and piney hops. Not too bitter, very clean and highly drinkable. A very good session.

Pretty much a straight straightforward decent fresh resin hop IPA lots of caramel malt to balance it out Bittersweet good body easy drinking but nothing remarkable.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2018. Pours a clear amber with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of bourbon with sweet grains, toffee and a bit of cookie underlying. Flavor has a combination of cookie, toffee and sweet grains with a nice bourbon note supporting

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2018. Pours a near clear yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of ginger with some sweet grain and hay underlying. Flavor has a lot of sweet and spicy ginger with sweet grains backing.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2018. Pours a deep brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dry grains, earthy roasted malts and a bit of bread backing. Flavor has notes of bread and grains with a bit of roast backing.

750ml bottle thanks to Toby pours out dark cola brown topped with tan head. Nose is big bourbon barrel notes coconut vanilla molasses brown sugar sweetness and some floral hops. Taste is more of the nice bourbon barrel forward notes plenty barrel and sweet notes.
