Tap. Pours deep black, medium creamy beige head, great lacing. Aroma is Grapefruit, pine, roast. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, a bit piney astringent. Medium body, silky mouthfeel. Just misses the sweet spot of a black IPA.

Craft Islington Gathering. Thanks to JK for the can. Clear bright gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish pale malts. Good soft hop skunk and pine. Juicy citrus and tropical fruits. Finishes spicy tropical. Everything light and in good balance with each other. My favourite beer of the event.

Medium sweet flavour with notes of pine and ripening citrus fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, a bit boozy, with more rindy orange. Not bad.
