Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Spicy notes, Saison yeast, subtle Brett notes. Taste: Spicy, funky Brett notes, 'Oude Jenever', some oak wood and almond. Dry-ish mouthfeel, dry spicy finish. Light to moderate sweet, moderate bitterness going towards medium bitterness at the long lasting finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice one!

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Hazy light orange color, huge creamy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is nicely hoppy, but the flavor is rather one-sided bitter, dusty and medicinal. Something is definitely off. Unfortunately, not good. 7-7-3,5-5-4,5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Clear but dark amber to brownish color, small to average sized beige to tan head. Aroma is malts, wood, whiskey heavily. Flavor is malts, wood, whiskey, peat, vanilla heavily as well and boozy. Quite awesome though. Maybe a little thin bodied but still oily texture. Pretty good. 9-8,5-8-8-7,5

Bottle shared. Darker red-brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is -oddly enough- somewhat fruity and oaky. Flavor is malts, someahat light fruity notes again. Then, tonka after a while. Also vanilla thereafter and maple syrup. But to say I get bourbon and rum? No. Also very thin, so the base beer is not strong enough to support the barrel aging it seems. Meh, overall, unbalanced and too thin.

Fles gedeeld met Keukenman, Roelzie, Inoven en Benzai. Het is een helder donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van de Bourbon en kaneel. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, kaneel, houtig, Bourbon en vanille.
