Can from Iceland, thanks Nathalie. An interesting and somewhat strange beer. You do get the early grey in this one. It's fun.

16/11/2021. Draught at BrewDog, Milton Keynes. Pours black with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, vanilla, fruited pastry, blackberry, blackcurrant, dried apricot. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyed it.

330mL bottle, pours black with a massive tan head. Aroma is full of rich coffee upfront, with plenty of roasted malt, and some hearty oats. Flavour is full-bodied and quite rich, with heavy coffee notes upfront and followed by medium roasted malt. Hearty, creamy oatmeal palate that provides good support for the coffee. Chewy and thick without being abrasive or syrupy. Low-medium residual sweetness. This seems way better than the prior ratings suggest. Excellent.

On tap at Brewdog - Reykjavik, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is decadent and pastry-like, with lots of sweet pastries and lactose. Flavour is sweet and pastry-like, like I'm drinking liquid pastries—ones that have lots of vanilla, lactose and cocoa. Not cloying, but it's dominated by the adjuncts. Fun, but award-winning? Nah—but it's good.

On tap. Pours black with little head. Aromas of flat Dr Pepper, chocolate, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of thin chocolate syrup, a little red berries, light plum and oily roasted malts. Clean and smooth though flavors are pretty subtle.
