4/5/2021. Can sample courtesy of Per, cheers! Pours very dark brown with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, milky cocoa, maple syrup, hint of coconut. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Full body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Sweet coffee finish. Quite sippable.

Can from Valhalla Beer Club. Extremely dark ruby body, almost dark red. Thick tan head, medium retention. Creamy coffee aroma, actually pleasant, but there's a vague touch of red apple, but it works, and is quite pleasant in general. The taste is definitely dark, black chocolate with earthiness, dry taste, general maltiness, coffee. Lightly woody. Maple? Completely dried out. Not the taste though but close. Some bitterness too. Huh, solid stuff, but far from a wow.

Canned, from Beerdome. Very dark brown, brief, lively head. Aroma of quality. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Quality coffee is there, but not much else. Sharp metallic finish.
