Black beer, thick brown head. Loads of toasty malt. Flavour follows suit. Toasty malt, dark chocolate, a little nuttiness and anise. Straightforward but very tasty impy stout

Bottle from the Strait and Narrow. Jet black with a slight brown head. Aroma and taste are big malty chocolate bitter and then sweet marshmallow. Slight berry fruit. Raspberries. Nice one. Big smooth body. And drink below the abv.

Shrewsbury Monthly Beer Share; Chez Sophie, 11th April 2022. Five guys all passionate about beer bringing their thoughts and offerings to split between us. Mike delivered this 330ml bottle. Misty amber body, decent white head. I struggle with pale beers that have a coffee influence and this was no different, they just don't do it for me at all. My eyes will not let me enjoyed them, they look wrong.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 22. Hazed amber with good foamy white head. Strong coffee dregs aroma, continuing to taste with additional pale ale fruity hop nuances. Not the biggest fan of coffee in beer, but it's achieved well.
