Dullish yellow, some haze, thick head. The aroma bursts with lemony, weedy hop. The hops aren'�t as bright on the palate but they are fresh (i.e. the Citra doesn'�t come across like leek pie). Lean slightly bready malt. Decent balance. Good solid new world pils.

Dull haze that probably shouldn'�t be there in a dortmunder. Thick head looks nice though. A little bit appley, fruity. Mild bitterness. Malts are doughy and some alcohol is showing through in the finish. So the overall construction - it'�s strong (some traditional non-German examples are this strength) and that brings out some less desirable characteristics and there'�s no strong positive to offset that.

Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy small pale cream colour head. Palate is pretty light, mildly dry and has a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Pink hops shining here with the more unusual claimed for descriptors shining through - honey, vanilla and apple. A light bright crisp citrus one tier down. Crisp cooling pine and a pinch of hop spice. Stone fruits coming through on the back end along with a modicum of bitterness. New hop, well presented, in a crisp light and very crushable dipa. Colour me happy.
