Description
We are a brewery & distillery, located on a picturesque 100 acre farm in the small township of Ayr. When Cameron Formica and Jordan and Nolan Vanderheyden finished university, they were looking for something outside of the classic nine to five. They really wanted to do something hands-on that they could physically create. So in 2017 they founded Willibald Farm Distillery and Brewery.

Can, at Matt's
Hazy blond colour, creamy head. Nice aroma, delicately piney, with a touch of citrus peel. Bone dry, crisp, with delicate base; bold hopping, piney, a bit of pith too, in the finish.
Good, clean.

Opaque, murky yellowish, with a frothy head. Sort of a grapefruity, weedy aroma. On the palate it's a big body, lots of balancing malt with lemony, slightly piney hops. So a good, complex hop character and the malt backbone isn't bad here. The alcohol is strong, but balanced...I think the malt in particular holds the booziness in check. No standout characteristics but overall quite good.

Slight haze, pale yellow. There's a thin head. The aroma is big, really jumps out of the glass with grapefruit, peach and cantaloupe hoppiness. The hops are bright on the palate as well, along with slightly biscuit malts. Medium bitterness and it's got an off-dry finish, just a bit of malt sweetness. A bit husky in that finish, but nothing too egregious.

12oz (thx, Josh!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: slightly hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: dank, some tropical fruits, somewhat dusty. Taste: along the same lines, finishes with noticeable and a a bit harsh bitterness. Overall: ok.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, crisp biscuity malt, and a touch of citrus. Flavour is dry and grainy, with citrusy hops, a little pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Grainy and crisp, with good clarity, though not the most vibrant hop expression. Very good.
