Description

We are a brewery & distillery, located on a picturesque 100 acre farm in the small township of Ayr. When Cameron Formica and Jordan and Nolan Vanderheyden finished university, they were looking for something outside of the classic nine to five. They really wanted to do something hands-on that they could physically create. So in 2017 they founded Willibald Farm Distillery and Brewery.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Tons of dank oils and tropical fruit on the nose. Flavour has tons of juicy tropical fruit, dank oils. Full-bodied. Damn, this is really good.

A lightly hazed milky yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, piney notes, light cereals, light citrus pulp, nice and smooth. (Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2025) Cloudy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, lemon, pineapple and passionfruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lemon, pineapple, white bread and a mild citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and juicy. Very nice.

A black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of strong roasted dark malt, whiskey, coffee. Taste of whiskey, strong dark malt, roasted malt, vanilla, toffee. Slightly boozy.

473 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 8.2%. Opaque pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of citrus, papaya and guava. Flavour of said fruits, also hints of pineapple and strawberries. A slight piney bitterness in the finish.
