Schooner on tap at The Local After Dark, Glen Innes. Pours a pale amber with a foamy white head. Light carbonation. Nose has some damp earthy notes. Refreshing, crisp, easy drinking. Hints of tropical fruit and pine needles in the finish. Very nice quaffer. Complex but not overly so.

355ml can into schooner glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. $8.50 a can! Pours a very pale amber with a thin white ring of foam. Light carbonation, very slight haze. Nose is mildly acid sour with notes of yeast and sweet doughy malt. Light body, fruity taste. Finish is drying with lots of pucker inducing yeast. It's like drinking unsweetened fruit juice while eating yoghurt. Not bad, very drinkable.

(Can) Pours dramatic clear violet with no head. Aroma of lemon with vegetable hints. Light bodied and fizzy. Taste is lemon with some earthy notes and some sweetness. It says it is a malt based drink, but from the taste that’s not obvious. It’s ok but not really my thing.

355ml can - Pours a clear light straw gold colour with a small white head that settled. An initial floral and tropical with a lingering grassy hopiness. A moderately sweet taste, some grapefruit, sweet malt, and spicy hop flavours with a woody drying finish. Pretty good.

Taster at Sydney beer festival. Pale amber with no head. Strong spicy nose. Clean, spicy. Dry and adult. This is a ginger ale more than a ginger beer. This would be brilliant as a mixer.

Taster at Sydney beer festival. Black beer with frothy white head. Dry cocoa nose. Nice lacing. Seems quite light and bitter at first but finish is excellent with fruit, caramel, malt, tobacco, pepper. Very nice, probably much better warmer.
