Tap at Sommar, Birmingham. Poured a hazy reddish amber colour with a short-lived, frothy, white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, big raspberry. The flavour is moderate sour, with a herbal saison yeast, juicy, tart raspberry palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Plenty of raspberry fruitiness, but not overly tart.

Tap at Sommar Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, light toffee, light juicy citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Really well made. Plenty going on.

Draft at Sommar Solihull. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big Apricot. The flavour is moderate sour, with a crisp, dry, light yeasty, big tart apricot palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A bit one dimensional but a reasonable fruit sour that wasn’t unbearably tart.

Tap at the Craft Inn, Shirley. Poured a murky dark yellow straw colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, rich, fresh, malt, juicy mango, passionfruit, vanilla lactose, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Sommar, Birmingham. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big pineapple. The flavour is over moderate sweet with a sweet biscuit, dough, shortbread, pineapple, vanilla lactose, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Plenty of pineapple but no tartness. I think they dropped the lactose bucket in here. Nice, but way too sweet to be great in my humble opinion.
