Sampled from 750ml bottle. Poured a reddish color with a small white head. Aroma was citrus, apples, perhaps a touch of cloves? Flavor was fruity, maybe a granny smith flavor down there? Very interesting brew.

Bottle @ home. $15 for a 750mL seems a little steep but with only 600 bottles, I’m sure they won’t have a problem selling it quickly. Burgundy red appearance with a cream colored head. Intense, toasty cherry, moderately spicy, almond aroma. Fairly tart, strong, sweet cherry, slightly tangy, spicy, belgian yeasty flavor. Pretty tasty but a little too overly sweet for my taste.

@ Falling Rock. Hazy blonde. Herbal, yeasty aroma with a little hop. Spicy, yeasty, light malt character. A fairly ordinary American-made saison, simplistic and lacking in style. Maybe it is better from the bottle - that happens with some of these typ

Bottle poured by Dr.Bill. Pours with a clear red hued body with a small white head. Aromas are of cherry, berry, light spices. Really dry. Cherry covers up the nice spicy yeast character that I enjoy in most Funkwerks beers. Flavors are of cherry, dry, earthy, light styrofoam and plastic. Medium to lively bubbles. Dry.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body with a huge, fizzy white head slowly diminishing. Aroma of ginger, clove, lemon, coriander, pepper with a hint of toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, velvety texture and lively carbonation. Lots of flavor in this wit, all nicely nuanced so that nothing dominates. Taste of lemon and orange, chamomile and hoppy flowers with coriander throughout. Nice tartness in the finish. The one off-putting aspect is the slightly soapy, perfume floral aroma and taste. Otherwise a top-notch beer.

Bottle. Hazy deep golden body. Huge frothy, pillowy white head, mostly lasting. Big spicy aroma of clove, pepper, earth, herbs, sweet cotton candy. Hints of orange and banana. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. The initial sweetness is washed away by tastes of clove, pepper, soap and lemon. Just a hint of basement and banana in the taste. The aroma is better than the flavor which seems overspiced. Dry, but not as dry as classic saisons. Good beer.
