The description above is very accurate, so I won't bother repeating it here. A very drinkable and enjoyable beer, but lacking in character, and thus not an entertaining beer.

A nice amber color. Moderate maltiness, and moderate hoppiness, with a definite dry-hopped character. Nice full head and balanced aroma (both sweet and floral). Just a wee bit on the thin side.

I believe that this is the beer now labelled as the Honey Double Mai Bock. It clearly has a strong honeyish flavor, which is only somewhat overwhelming. It also is very much a maibock, but doesn't have the strong malt presence of a double-bock, which it claims to be. Highly drinkable, but difficult to categorize.
