Cloudy amber, lasting off white head.Light fruity malt nose. Sour and puckery with slight bitterness. Did I get a bad one?Or is this just a terrible beer? Everyone certainly seems to have had something different

Tastes more like an American wheat, but with a more hopped finish. European hops are noticable, but not full bodied enough.

The star of the show for Elysian is this beer. with its hazy golden amber color, smells of banana cloves, fruit punch and spice and a taste of sour fruit, it is very unique. One of the best Saison I have ever had.

Has caramel and honey notes in the nose, medium body with subtle spices and honey. However, Elysian often impresses me!

A hazy golden color, very light bodied, grainy nose and very refreshing. There aren't alot of Dotmunders out there and this is a great example of the style.

A bitter with a nice light body and a well hopped finish. Don't think there is too much special about it though.

The infamously named triple called ‘Lying Bitch’ (as the waitress told me), due to the high ABV, but really only 6.9% which is kinda weak for the style. A nose of lemon, ginger and unidentifiable spice. Sweet malty orange taste, nice crisp dry finish.

Orange-amber, tea-like; slight yellowish head, 1.5 cm, gone in 30". Slight spicey-sweet, fruity, sucade (sugared preserved fruit for cakes, pastries); slightly cheesy. Taste like very hopped sweet liquid sucade. Very hoppy & quite bitter palate too. Bitter-burning backthroat mouthfeel, oily. Warming up, the cheese returns as flavour. Sweet-bitter balance, the heavy dose of hops notwithstanding, is impressive. But it remains a very West-Coast icon.

Bright orange-amber , flunky. Enormous, yellowish head, rather regular and stable. Very high carbonation. Very outspoken nose of ambrée/roasted malts; roasted cookies. Spicey too. Odour of liqueur and citrussy hops. Immediately very hop-bitter, outspoken citrussy. Some liquorice retronasal. Roasted malts, orangecake. Slight burning sensation in the mouth. Highly carbonated, not fizzy. I’ve difficulties placing this beer. It doesn’t seem to know to pull in what direction; hoppy, spicey, perfumed. Very nice try but I’d like more conviction.
