Description
Elysian Brewing Company operates three locations of which Elysian Capitol Hill is the main brewery and a full production brewery – Elysian Airport Way, in the Georgetown neighborhood (since 2011). Known both for classic styles and for flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 500 different recipes since opening in 1996. While Elysian’s brewers use a variety of unusual ingredients, they are seasonally notorious for their pumpkin beers. In 2015 Elysian joined AB InBevs' family of craft brands.

Bottle at home. Fine dark brown pour minimal head. Nose is coffee, pumpkin, and chocolate. Tastes similar, some nutmeg, earthy, vegetal, pumpkin pie, creamy coffee. Medium bitterness. Enjoyable.

Bought the pumpkin pack at grocer couldn’t resist 4 new ticks. Dark colored with smallish head. Nose is rich pumpkin pie filling and light slicing. Tastes similar. Spices are lighter and pumpkin is full on. Also get light brown sugar, caramel, rootbeer. Chewy palate.

Experience by November 6th 2019.
Looks straw yellow, clear, small but retentive head of foam.
Smells of watermelon, salt, medium degree of tartness.
Watermelon up front, salt is right there , sensing other fruit. Tartness appropriate.
Light body with lively carbonation.
Good Gose.

Pours hazy orange with tons of suspended yeast flakes. It has a citrusy aroma. The oranges come through well in the flavor along with bready malt. Medium bodied. Okay overall.

16oz can pours a clear, neon orange with some clumpy white head. Nose is very beery, paper, orange, honey. Flavor has the same... sticky honey, cheap malt, corn, some soapy bitterness. Flabby finish. Just not real good.

Bottle. Thanks Davido. Pineapple juice, not exciting. Low sourness, can't find the habanero. Boring! Spicy burp though.

Tap at CBM Koenji. Light orange and tropical fruitiness. Not overly bitter but has a bit of a prickle. Nice stuff.

Tap at Tsuki To Taiyo. Caramel, bit of a hoppy bite, orange and citrus but malt dominates. Not so bitter. Not much aroma at all.

Tap at ibrew wired. Nice enough, rich, roasty, bit sweet. Little bitterness, some citrus, interesting. Lemonade further down. Is that supposed to be there? I quite liked that bit.
