Bottled. Miller’s answer to Blue Moon, I suppose. Pours cloudy, a surprise in itself. A sure enough big wheaty head with some lacing, that sticks around to the end. I get an Orange Shasta smell, and since I like the smell of orange pop, I call that okay. Some of the wit-type coriander does come up, too. Taste matches the smell pretty well. A rather nice, orangey glow that by rights should put this into a fruit beer category. Any spice and hops just blend well into the overall impression. Another very serviceable lawnmower beer.

Holy lemonheads batman! Big lemon lime candy nose on this one! Also,a spicy, doughy lemon pie, and even a blueberry muffin, note. Not much up front, rather it fades quickly into a moderate bitter hop finish, but a lingering spicy coriander manages to surfaces after the hop finish. Still, lemon candy throughout. Weird. Resamples features a weird blueberry note that when mixed with the lemon, it smells and tastes like fruity pebbles. Pretty awful.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow. Creamy, beige head that sticks to my glass. Nose of roasted malt. Light-bodied - almost watery - with distinct, lightly sweet accents of roasted malt and an almost coffeeish edge. Basically no bitterness. Rather smooth and lovely. For being a Miller affiliate Leinenkugel really produces some nice and goodlooking brews. 280306

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very beautiful dark amber with a delicate, creamy, beige head. Sweet accents of caramel in the aroma. Medium body with plenty of sweet caramel malt - almost slightly perfumy. Quite lovely really. No bitterness. 270306

Thanks to Darkover for the trade. Pours a dark golden color with decent carbonation and a medium thin white head. Thin rings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and earthy malt. Light-bodied and clean on the tongue with a sweet malt and honey flavor at first, then more grassy hops shortly after. The finish is clean and lightly sweet but with a hint of hops in the aftertaste. Nothing stands out either good or bad about this Lager, it’s pretty much average all around.

Bottled. Deep brown roast color pours under a very thin head. Smell has a pleasant whiff of molasses, but underlying corn sweetness. Taste carries the impression through. Just a little dark malt flavor, pinprick cola style bubbles and a lot of adjuncts.A little smokiness here and there. A halfway decent beverage, just not quite near what it claims to be.

Pour is golden and aroma is great. Fills the room with a nice warming apple. That’s about where this ones goes down hill. Flavor is sticky and way to sweet, Its just a frigging mess. Very artificial apple flavor is about all you can detect. Craptastic!

Draft. Pours very light gold, almost no head. There isn’t much aroma and there isn’t much taste either. This is a very bland beer with a hint of honey and a hint of bitterness.

Clear golden color with a medium thin and fizzy white head. Thin, spotty lacing. Great apple archard smell really goes with the season. Dry, crisp body with a cinnamon applesauce flavor that unfortunately does not live up to the smell. Tastes pretty much like an apple soda. The finish is dry, short and apple-y. If this were a candle I’d burn it, but I won’t drink it again for awhile.

I am very impressed with this beer. It has an outstanding aroma. It smells very much like apple cider and cinnamon. Nothing interesting about the appearance; just a little bit cloudy with no head. Very good flavor. Ripe apples, cinnamon, pumpkin, and other spices, and wheat in the finish. By far the most interesting and daring of anything made by Leinenkugels. My girlfriend likes it, her friend who doesn’t like beer likes it. Well done.
