Bottle. Berry, wheat malt and light ginger aroma. Hazy honey gold with a moderate white head. Wheat malt and tart berry flavor with a little ginger zing. Light crisp body, lively carbonation. I really like both ginger and cranberry, so I like this twist on a shandy.

Roast and light cherry. Some chocoalte. Good balance. Cherry light and we’ll integrated. Black pour with ok head. Bittersweet. Light tang. Tap at jackpot.

Sampled on draft at Social this beer poured a very dark brown color with red highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faintly tangy and malty. The flavor was malty with molasses, vanilla extract, cookie dough and a hint of dark fruits. Long malty vanilla extract finish. Medium body but smooth. Ok.

Can: Hazy orange-gold with a tall white head. Very nice fresh pear aroma. Pear, wheat malt flavour. Pretty light on the spices, but that’s probably for the best....allows the really good pear taste to stand on it’s own. Clean, light and refreshing....nice.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 9/14/2015. Pours fairly crystal clear golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly sticky, and lightly creamy/grainy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good Munich Helles style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. It was more like a German Pilsner with the bitterness and dryness overall, though. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, spices, and lemon notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, wheat, cracker, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal/spice bitterness and slight lemon tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, wheat, cracker, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good robustness and balance of pale malt, spices, and lemon flavors; with a great malt/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a nice spiced shandy style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, spices, and lemon flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
